Mid-Hudson St. Patrick’s Parade Presents
HALF WAY TO ST. PATRICK’S DAY IN GREENWOOD LAKE, NY
The Mid-Hudson St. Patrick’s Parade Committee announced that the 44th Annual Mid-Hudson St. Patrick’s Parade and events will take place on Sunday, September 19, 2021. The new date will include the traditional celebratory Mass honoring St. Patrick, the Grand Marshal and Aides’ Breakfast, and the Parade. This year’s parade will step off in the beautiful (and very Irish) Village of Greenwood Lake. We hope to see you at this year’s parade and events!
The 2020-2021 Grand Marshal, Kevin R. Cummings will lead the parade, along with his Aides which begins on Windermere Avenue in the beautiful Village of Greenwood Lake. The parade will then pass the reviewing stand along the route and marching units will return to the parade’s step off area.
Area Irish clubs began the Mid-Hudson St. Patrick’s Parade Committee in 1979 to honor the patron saint of Ireland, as well as the Archdiocese of New York, in which Orange County is located. St. Patrick’s mission to the Emerald Isle forever influenced its history. The parade provides a focus for the celebration of a heritage of a dynamic people and its contributions to humankind.
