MAYOR DWYER OPENED THE VILLAGE BOARD MEETING WITH THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG.

 

ROLL CALL ALL PRESENT EXCEPT FOR TOM HOWLEY, STATED MAYOR DWYER.

 

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

 

SCHOOL BOARD ELECTION AND BUDGET VOTE IS TOMORROW.

 

IRISH FESTIVAL IS MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND.

 

STREET FAIR IS JUNE 4TH.

TOWN COUNCILMAN FLOYD DEANGELO – I HAVE NOTHING TO ADD.

 

MAYOR DWYER STATED ALL BOARDS AND DEPARTMENT HEADS HAVE BEEN EXCUSED FROM ATTENDING THIS MEETING AS WE THOUGHT THERE WAS GOING TO BE BAD WEATHER. 

 

COMMISSION REPORTS

 

TRUSTEE HOLDER – THE CANDIDATE FORUM IS GOING ON NOW AND VOTING IS TOMORROW FROM 12:00 TO 9:00 AT THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.  SUSAN SELSER, MICHELLE KAYSER AND DAVID CLIFFORD ARE RUNNING. 

 

SOCCER REGISTRATION IS COMING UP AT THE END OF THIS MONTH.  THE ELKS ARE DOING THEIR FIRST EVER SOCCER SHOOT OUT COMING UP SOON AS WELL ON JUNE 4TH.

 

TRUSTEE KELM REPORT – I’M HAPPY TO REPORT THAT WE ARE GOING TO HAVE SWIMMING LESSONS THIS YEAR.  THERE WILL BE TWO SESSIONS, JULY 12TH –   AND AUGUST 9TH.  THERE WILL BE IN PERSON SIGN UP ON JUNE 1ST AT VILLAGE HALL FROM 5-7 PM.  THERE WILL BE NO SIGN UPS BEFORE THEN OR PREREGISTERING.  INFORMATION WILL BE GOING HOME THROUGH THE SCHOOLS SOON.    SOFTBALL IS UP AND RUNNING.

 

TRUSTEE SELLIER REPORT – IN THE MONTH OF APRIL THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT TOOK IN $9,415.00.  THIS WAS HIGHLIGHTED BY $3900 IN BUILDING PERMITS AND $2000 IN SHORT TERM RENTALS.  THE ZONING BOARD MET WITH THREE APPLICANTS BUT I HAVEN’T RECEIVED MINUTES YET.

AUTHORIZES THE NECESSARY BUDGET AMENDMENTS AND TRANSFERS IN THE GENERAL FUND AND THE WATER FUND TO CLOSE OUT THE FISCAL YEAR 2021/2022.  COPIES OF ALL ADJUSTMENTS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED TO THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES.

RESOLUTION # 47 OF 2001/2002

 

AUTHORIZES ALL NON-UNION FULL TIME EMPLOYEES AND ELECTED OFFICIALS WHO ARE ELIGIBLE FOR HEALTH INSURANCE WILL BE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE EITHER SINGLE OR FAMILY HEALTH INSURANCE WHILE EMPLOYED.  IF THEY LEAVE EMPLOYMENT IN GOOD STANDING AND ARE ENROLLED IN HEALTH INSURANCE AT THE TIME OF RETIREMENT, THE FOLLOWING RATES WILL APPLY:

 

1-5 YEARS OF SERVICE:  20% PREMIUM CONTRIBUTION

6-10 YEARS OF SERVICE:  15% PREMIYM CONTRIBUTION

11-20 YEARS OF SERVICE:  10% PREMUM CONTRIBUTION (ELIGIBLE FOR RETIRMENT AFTER 10 YEARS)

21-25 YEARS OF SERVICE:  5% PREMIUM CONTRIBUTION

26 YEARS AND ABOCE OF SERVICE  0% CONTRIBUTION.
