#6 of 2007/2008-For NYS Retirement System reporting

 the Village of Greenwood Lake standard work day is 8 hours.

 

Elected Officials are reported for 6 days work each month.

 

#7 of 2007/2008-Authorizes the emergency repair to the gasoline storage facility due to DEC Consent Order. The cost of which will not exceed $63,000.00 plus the $25,000.00 imposed fine.

 

#8 of 2007/2008- Flood Mitigation Plan

 Whereas the Federal Emergency Management Agency is requiring

 all government jurisdictions to adopt a Mitigation plan in order to

 receive Federal Mitigation Planning funds;

 

 Whereas the Village of Greenwood Lake has received funding to    prepare a flood mitigation plan for the Village;

 

Whereas the deadline for preparation of a plan is August 13, 2007, and

 The Village Board is requesting an extension of the deadline from the

 New York State Emergency Management Office until March 15, 2008;

 

We resolve that we will diligently pursue preparation of a flood mitigation plan for the Village of Greenwood Lake as per the guidelines outlined by the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000, and 44CFR Part 201-Mitigation Planning, Interim Final Rule of 2002.
