Greenwood Lake Youth Basketball Registration for 2011:

Greenwood Lake's Police Benevolent Association is proud to present this new league.
• The League will consist of children from the ages of 10 thru 18
• The League will start on June 27, 2011 and run for 8 weeks
• The games will be held at Helen Kelly Basketball Courts on Vine St. in the Village of Greenwood Lake from 6PM to 9PM on Tues and Thurs. (tentative)
• Registration starts April 11 and will end May 23, 2011

Classes will be held at the Thomas P. Morahan Waterfront Park In the Village of Greenwood Lake, Monday through Friday unless otherwise stated below. In the event of inclement weather, classes will be cancelled

The Greenwood Lake Soccer Club, run by the Gaelic Society, offers members in several age groups many opportunities to play and learn the game. ANYONE interested in registering for the Greenwood Lake Soccer Club U9- U14 Travel Program or our KinderKickers program (4-6 years old), U8 Recreation Program (6-7 years old), and U10 Recreation Program (8-9 years old) should click on the "Register Online" link below. Announcing a FREE Summer Leadership Academy Program, July 11 through August 5, from 9AM-3PM

East Arm Rowing Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of rowing in the Hudson Valley region. It rows out of Greenwood Lake, the largest freshwater lake in the vicinity of New York City.

Recreation Softball

Greenwood Lake Softball: open to anyone woman 25 years and up, who wants to play and have fun. You do not need to be an all star to play, even if you have never played before come join us. This is NOT a league.


The Village of Greenwood Lake runs a Girls Softball program starting in April running through the end of June. (Open registration). The program is open for girls from the second grade to the eight grade. Divisions are split into two groups, Group one is the instructional division for grades 2 - 4, and group two is the competitive division for grade 5-8.

Yoga at the Beach

Please join us for this wonderful hour of stretching, strengthening and relaxing your body and mind at one of Greenwood Lake's most scenic locations. Unwind from your day to sounds of lapping waves and chirping birds and the feel of the sun and breeze on your face. It truly is an awesome experience!

These classes are for everyone. It is an honor to welcome those to whom yoga is a completely new experience. Classes will challenge the seasoned practitioner and be gentle and explicit enough for beginners. Whether you have years of yoga practice behind you or are trying this for the first time, you'll be in great company!

When: Wed. evenings, 6:30-7:00pm,

Where: Thomas Morahan Memorial Waterfront Park

What: Please bring a yoga mat. All other props will be provided. Wear clothing that is easy to move around in and not constricting. Cost $10 per class.
