Summer Recreation Program
The Village of Greenwood lake host's programs designed for area youth during the summer months for local children from 4 - 12. The Summer program consists of a variety of Arts & Crafts, Swimming Lessons, Music Lessons (guitar), etc.

Summer Childrens Sports Program
The Village of Greenwood Lake in association with U.S. Sports Camp is pleased to offer the summer of 2008 Childrens Sports Camp (Download Flier --PDF). This year's programs will include MULTI SPORTS CAMP, SPORTS SQUIRTS PROGRAM, and BEGINNERS GOLF CLINIC

Girls Recreation Softball
The Village of Greenwood Lake runs a Girls Softball program starting in April running through the end of June. The program is open for girls from the second grade to the eight grade. Divisions are split into two groups, Group one is the instructional division for grades 2 - 4, and group two is the competitive division for grade 5-8.

2008 Village Wrestling Program
New for 2008 The Village of Greenwood Lake has stared a instructional wrestling program for boys between the ages of 9 and 14. The program will run from April to June.

Greenwood Lake Soccer Club:
Now in its Thirty second year, (2008 / 2009), the Greenwood Lake Soccer Club is organized for all eligible youth who wish to play soccer. The Soccer Club is sponsored by the Greenwood Lake Gaelic Cultural Society. The Soccer Club operates 11 months a year starting in August, and ending June of each year.

East Arm Rowing Club:
East Arm Rowing Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of rowing in the Hudson Valley region. It rows out of Greenwood Lake, the largest freshwater lake in the vicinity of New York City.

Yoga Classes
Wednesday nights, from 7 - 8pm at the GWL elementary school gym. Class is open to all levels. Get flexible and strong, open your hearts and minds, and have a lot of fun! Classes will be based on an 8 week session, every Wednesday night, starting 4/2/08 at 7pm. Cost will be $80 for the entire session, or $15 per class if you'd rather pay as you go. Please be prepared to pay by check, with checks payable to The Village of Greenwood Lake. What to wear: comfortable clothes that are easy to move around in (try to avoid buttons, snaps or zippers) What to bring: a yoga mat (other props to be provided).
