The Village of Greenwood Lake is proud to announce the premiere of the Rob Reiner film that was produced in the Village last summer, The Magic of Belle Isle. This event will take place on Saturday June 23, 2012 (rain date June 24, 2012) at theThomas P. Morahan Waterfront Park in the Village of Greenwood Lake. The preview of this film (before it is shown in theatres) stars Morgan Freeman and will begin at 9:15PM. Admission is free but you must have a wrist band provided by the Village (available at Village Hall only) to gain entry. After expenses are paid, all proceeds will support the Summer Concert Series and the Greenwood Lake Food Pantry.

For VIP ticket holders 6:30PM arrival
Prior to the premiere beginning at 6:30PM there will be a VIP Event “An Evening on the Set.” Guests will have the opportunity to tour four of the homes featured in the movie located in the Greenwood Park section of the Village, and enjoy beverages and hors d'oeuvres. Cost for the event is $25.00 and is limited to 200 guests. Please park at Holy Rosary Church Lower and Upper lot. Follow the RED footsteps to the main gate of Greenwood Park/Laurel Avenue. Continue following the RED Footsteps to the entry gate on Woodbine Avenue where they will be asked to show their VIP ticket for entry.
Ticket holders will be given a program with a map to locate the four homes within Greenwood Park. By 8:30/8:45 they will be asked to move to the Waterfront Park to be seated for the movie in the reserved seating area (chairs provided). After the movie VIP ticket holder are invited back to Greenwood Park for dessert.


For General Admission Premiere Wristband Hoilders
There will be no parking or vehicle traffic except for Handicap transport drop off and pick up at the turn around at the end of Windermere Avenue at the Park. Parking for the premiere will be at the municipal lot at Village Hall, the Elementary School, Helen Kelly Field and the CVS Parking Lot. Parking on neighborhood streets is permitted north of Wright and Maple Streets but please be courteous to the homeowners; do not obstruct traffic or park in driveways or on lawns.
The Waterfront Park will open for Participants wearing wristbands at 8:00PM and no one will be allowed to enter prior to that time.
