February 7, 2010 Motorcycle & Quad Ice Racing on Greenwood Lake Pits located at the East Arm of Greenwood Lake., in Greenwood Lake, NY 10925. Spectators: $10 donation (under 12 free); Entry $40 per class, side hacks $50 per team. Gates open at 9:30AM, practice at 11AM, Heat Races at 12:15PM. Trophy presentation to follow. Requirements: Three vehicles make up a class. All motorcycles must have substantial fenders that cover 90 degrees of the front and rear wheels. All bikes, quads & hacks must have tested tethered kill switches. All must have three totally visible 10x12" number plates with black numberes. All must be AMA members. Sign up available on Race Day.
Novice Motorcycle Class This class is for regulation ice bikes (not sportsman). All engine sizes to be combined.
Weather Decision Final decision for race cancellation due to weather will be at 4PM on the Saturday prior to race day. Always call before coming to race as participant or spectator.
Get someone started at ice racing. Lend him/her your bike. No sandbaggers.
