| The New York side of the Lake, Orange County's largest body of fresh water lakes, has seen a growing number of projects aimed at improving and enhancing the lake front. From sophisticated aeration systems that minimize the growth of aquatic plants, to LCD lighting that reduces electricity use by municipal streetlights, periodic harvesting of excess aquatic weeds, to managing storm water runoff and wind turbine demonstrations, Greenwood Lake is becoming greener by the day. |
